IDFC FIRST Bank’s Shwetdhara program fosters meaningful interactions between our FIRST IMPACT team members and the champions of India’s agricultural sector.
They conducted a two-day field visit to Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh gaining invaluable insights by interacting with the NGO team, field staff, Farmer Producer Company (FPC) members, and dairy farmers involved in the program. These discussions spotlighted specific technological, societal, and financial challenges related to dairy production and management practices.
Many of these issues are being addressed through our outreach initiatives across India, including our toll-free number that offers real-time assistance to farmers. The team also facilitated the Shwetdhara Rath, a mobile unit launched to spread awareness about modern veterinary services, scientific dairy practices, and agricultural expertise in rural villages.
