Social Good is a culture we design together at IDFC FIRST Bank. Through our Lend-A-Shoulder employee volunteering programme, thousands of colleagues contribute their time and energy to make resources more accessible for underserved communities. But beyond participation, what makes this effort meaningful is the way each activity is structured. With our NGO partners, such as Way For Life, Dhwani Foundation and Funsmart, we design every volunteering opportunity to meet two important goals: ✔️ Impact for communities Addressing a real gap that an NGO partner has identified in underserved communities, so every output is tangible, useful and lasting. ✔️ Meaningful participation from employees Enabling every colleague and department to take part in a hands-on and team-oriented activity and see a visible outcome of their efforts within a few hours in a day.
