On 7th December, IDFC FIRST Bank’s CRES department attended the Seeds of Change event organised by the Seva Charitable Trust at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai and enabled 50 women from the tribal communities in the area to earn a livelihood.
Led by Radhika Shenoy, Head of CRES, the 50 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and created beautiful torans and seed balls to be sold by the women of these communities. By immersing themselves in the daily tasks of the residents, our team members gained a better understanding of traditional #farming practices and the challenges they face.
