The newly opened IDFC First Bank branch at Thergaon is well-maintained and visually impressive. As customers, we had high expectations from the branch in terms of service and professionalism, especially considering the strong reputation of IDFC First Bank. Unfortunately, the service experience fell short. One of the employees misguided us regarding a process, which led to confusion and inconvenience. To be sure, we cross-verified the same process with other IDFC First Bank branches — and found that the information given at the Thergaon branch was incorrect. Such discrepancies and lack of clarity are disappointing. The overall staff conduct did not reflect the professionalism IDFC is known for. There were gaps in communication and service delivery that need immediate attention. We sincerely urge the branch manager to look into this and ensure that all employees are properly trained and maintain a high level of professionalism. Correct guidance and a customer-first approach are essential to building trust and providing a consistent experience across all branches.
